根据IEEA的规定及国际惯例，在《国际医院评审认证标准（中国）》第二版（以下简称为“CIHA-第二版”）获得IEEA认证并正式发布前，医院仍按照《国际医院评审认证标准（中国）》（2021版，以下简称“CIHA-第一版”）进行申请。CIHA-第二版正式发布之日（预计2026年8月前）起一年内，申请认证的医院可自主选择使用CIHA-第一版或CIHA-第二版进行认证。CIHA-第二版正式发布满一年后，所有医院均须按照CIHA-第二版进行认证。维持认证按照医院认证实施的标准版本要求进行。
1.已通过认证的医院
使用CIHA-第一版维持认证，认证期满后使用CIHA-第二版申请新一轮认证。
2.已签署CIHA-第一版合同的医院
按照合同约定使用CIHA-第一版认证及维持认证。
3.有意申请认证但未签署合同的医院
此类医院需在截止期前获知上述过渡原则，以便做出最终决策。
Transition Plan for CIHA Standards
Pursuant to the provisions of IEEA and international practices, the following principles will be adopted during the transition period:
Prior to China's International Hospital Accreditation Standards (Second Version) (CIHA-II) attaining ISqua-EEA certification and being officially released, hospitals applying for accreditation will be evaluated with China's International Hospital Accreditation Standards (2021 Version)(CIHA-I).
Within one year from official release of CIHA-II (expected before August 2026), hospitals applying for accreditation may voluntarily choose to use either CIHA-I or CIHA-II for evaluation.
One year after official release of CIHA-II, all hospitals applying for accreditation will be evaluated with CIHA-II.
Maintenance shall adhere to the requirements of the Version used for the accreditation period.
1. Hospitals already accredited with CIHA-I
Maintenance of certification will continue using CIHA-I till the expiration of their current accreditation term. Subsequent renewal of accreditation will be conducted using the above principles.
2. Hospitals with Signed Contracts using CIHA-I
SHARC will conduct accreditation and maintenance using CIHA-I as stipulated in the contracts.
3. Hospitals with Intent to Apply for Accreditation but Without Signed Contracts
Such hospitals shall be informed of the above principles for final decision before cut-off period.
