·SHARC adopts China's International Hospital Accreditation (CIHA) Standards (2021 Version) for accreditation. The accreditation cycle is four years.

　　·Following the accreditation survey, the surveyor team submits the draft report containing the rating matrix and award recommendation to the SHARC’s Accreditation and Awards Committee for consideration and approval. The surveyed hospital, if meeting all the requirements of “Pass” as mentioned in the “Overall Survey Outcome”, will be awarded accreditation status for 4 years. 

　　·To maintain accreditation status, the hospital should rectify the recommendations made by the survey team, and report the improvement plan and progress to SHARC on a regular basis in a accordance with the following requirements.
